This giant praying mantis was on the drivers side mirror. Yuck! I was totally afraid it was going to jump on my face and eat it for lunch if i tried to open the door. I wasn't taking that risk. So in the middle of a crowded target parking lot, i got in on the passenger's side and climbed over my seats. Yup, sure did. No shame. You would have too.
man I'm such a slacker - I'm just now reading this for the first time and for the record, I absolutely would have done the same thing. No foolin'. Bugs and me, we don't mix, and when we do there the result is wimpering and franticly running away while the bug sits there totally unaware of the disturbance it has caused.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I don't think I've even seen a praying mantis in really life before. They must not live up here in Eastern Canada. Can't say that I'm sad about that!
