Such Amazing Talent

I have been meaning to post this for a while now but I didn’t have a picture of the finished product. You know, because taking them at Christmas would have been been too easy.

Austin and I gave mom a really cool Christmas present.

Maria from Personalized Sketches and Sentiments took a picture of Austin and Me and made it into something amazing. With just our names.

I Matted and framed it and we gave it to mom. Good stuff. She loved it.

One day I will add the video of her opening it. It was pretty funny when she realized it was with our name!

 

I adore Maria’s work! She does portraits, monograms, anything really. Please check out her work! It will blow you away. If you need a unique gift, this would be one! I think the monograms would be great wedding gifts! She was super easy to work with, we emailed back and forth a couple times to decide what the image we would use was, and in a couple days I had it in my hands! So amazing! Love it!!

Embracing the Ghetto

I paid my car off a few months ago. It still runs, but it is a bit quirky.

Only the drivers window goes up and down with the button. The Front passenger window falls down half way. We had it fixed and a few weeks later, same problem. So I fixed it myself. With duct tape.

I don't want to put a lot of money into this car.

I ran out of duct tape recently and decided I was going to make it a little prettier (ok really it just draws even more attention to it) but I like it!

So Matt showed me the new Sportscenter commercial today.

Ang - Why are they making testudo look like a slacker. That is rude.

Matt- They aren't rude, he is a turtle, he is slow.

Ang - OHHHHHH, true, hahaha I get it.

Then I sat and laughed at myself for 5 mins, and then opened the browser to type this blog post. I always have moments, like this.

Go ahead and laugh at me, I am!

What the hell?!

I took the girls to Petsmart because we needed to get out of the house, but they were a little sick so we didn't want to go hang out with our friends. We watched the kittens play ( I WANT ONE) we looked at birds, and snakes (EWWW) and looked at the "pup pups" getting hair cuts.

So cute. While browsing the cat toy aisle I saw this

Fingernails for cats!! What on earth! Ok ok - they are marketed as caps to keep them from scratching but still. They are colored and glittery - they are clearly fingernails for cats. 

When (one day) I get a kitten, I totally want it prancing around with pink nails. (sike)
